Both parents are from a long line of proven hunting dogs, with a focus on field trial and hunt tests. Both parents possess a strong work ethic, natural retrieving instincts, and a driven, cooperative temperament. Both parents are known for their intelligence, trainability, and eagerness to please, as well as a great off switch making them excellent family dogs as well as capable hunting partners.
Sage, although not hunt tested herself, is highly driven with phenomenal instincts, is conformationally correct and only looks to please. She has been an excellent family dog and hunting partner for us as well as a great mother to her puppies. Sage weighs right around 50 lbs.
Jett earned his Master Hunter title at 24 months of age. Since then he has gone on to earn his first Grand pass at 27 months old, and his Grand Hunting Retriever Champion title at 3 years old. Jett weighs right around 72-73 lbs, with a record of 48/49 in finished tests. He is also the youngest male dog in Ohio inducted into the HRC HOF.
