1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by
these Terms, Conditions, and Policies. If you do not agree, do
not use the website.
2. Disclaimer of
Liability
The administrator, operator, and creator of
HuntingLabPedigree.com (HuntingLabPedigree, Hunting Lab
Pedigree, HLP), and Cross Creek Web Design (as the developer),
disclaim any and all liability for the accuracy, meaning, or
interpretation of information provided on this site.
All information is provided
“as is.” You rely on the information solely at your own risk. No
warranty, express or implied, is made regarding the accuracy or
fitness of the information for any purpose. You agree to hold
the site operator, its successors, or representatives harmless
from any claim, liability, or damages arising from use of the
site or its information.
3. User
Responsibilities
You may add new dogs to
the database or correct errors you find. The value of this
database depends entirely on the quality of user input.
The system records when
a dog is added or updated, along with the responsible user.
Malicious, abusive, or
deceptive use is prohibited. If you believe a user is
abusing the system, please report it to:
infos@ccwdpedigreedatabases.com,
including the relevant dog information.
4. Commercial Use &
Linking Policy Personal /
Non-Commercial Linking Permitted:
You may link to HLP for personal and non-commercial purposes,
such as:
Sharing a dog’s
pedigree on social media.
Linking from a personal
website, kennel site, or trainer/breeder page.
Including a link in an
individual advertisement or post that you create directly
(e.g., showcasing your own litter).
Prohibited Without
Prior Permission:
No company, organization, or commercial service may incorporate,
embed, integrate, or allow
its users, clients, or
members to enter, display, or store links to HLP as
part of its website, platform, directory, database, listing,
advertising, or entry service without the express written
permission of the site operator—whether the service is paid or
free.
Examples include, but are
not limited to:
Dog or litter listing
services (paid or free) that include pedigree links.
Online entry systems
that allow or encourage pedigree linking.
Any directory,
database, or advertising platform that integrates or accepts
pedigree links as part of its listings, features, or user
submissions.
If you operate or provide
such a service, you must obtain prior approval and enter into a
licensing or compensation agreement with the site operator.
Unauthorized use may result in removal of access, takedown
requests, or legal action.
5. Certified Health
Testing
Information such as OFA, CERF, CNM, EIC, or other certified
testing results should only be entered as “Cleared,” “Normal,”
or “Carrier,” with health clearance numbers that correspond to
the appropriate certification organization. Health clearance
data must match what is publicly available through the
certifying organization’s database.
If you post information that is false, misleading, or violates
the legal confidentiality rights of a dog’s owner, you (the
submitting user) may be held legally responsible.
HuntingLabPedigree.com keeps records of what information is
entered and by whom.
6. International Users
This database is primarily based on American and Canadian
registries. If you are from another country and wish to add your
country’s registry information, please contact
infos@ccwdpedigreedatabases.com.
7. Cookies & Similar
Technologies
HuntingLabPedigree.com is in the process of updating its Terms,
Conditions, and Cookie Policy to include expanded user-consent
options.
The legacy version of HuntingLabPedigree.com (Classic ASP) uses
Google Analytics to understand general site usage. This version
provides notice of analytics cookies through a banner but does
not require explicit consent.
The new PHP version includes a full cookie-consent system that
allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies.
HLP uses cookies and
similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences,
and understand aggregate usage.
Preferences:
save settings such as login state and UI choices.
Analytics (e.g.,
Google Analytics 4): measure and understand
aggregate site usage. Analytics are not used to personally
identify users.
No targeted
advertising cookies are used. We do not sell
personal information.
Consent:
Essential cookies are required. Non-essential cookies are used
only with your consent, which you can change at any time through
our cookie banner or browser settings.
Retention:
Cookies persist for their stated lifetime (session or
persistent). Analytics cookies typically last from a few minutes
up to 24 months.
Third Parties:
We may use third-party analytics providers (e.g., Google). These
providers may set their own cookies to perform services for us.
Do Not Track:
Because DNT standards are not uniform, we do not respond to DNT
signals.
