Petey and Jet are both hunting gun dogs as well as proven hunt test dogs. Petey is a working guide/pointer/retriever dog for a pheasant hunting ranch in S.D. that produces up to 3000 birds a year. He dazzles hunters with his natural point, steady to wing and shot, and precise, perfect retrieve to the hand. Petey is as good as it gets, if not one of the best, for a pointing lab retriever. Not only is Petey a dream to hunt with, He's extremely talented and accomplished in the retriever hunt tests. As a 2 y.o. he achieved his HRCH- Hunting Retriever Champion title in HRC as well as his MH-Master Hunter title in AKC. And has run the HRC International Grand through 4 series successfully twice and Qualified and ran in the 2023 AKC Master Nationals. Not finishing due to an injury. He just started running hunt tests in the APLA, American Pointing Labrador Association last fall and has already earned his GMPR-Grand Master Pointing Retriever title. Petey shows every day the versatility of a Good Labrador Retriever. Jet is an APLA advanced Lab/pointer, and she is near qualifying for the Masters. She is also used for upland game bird hunting 9 months throughout the year at Little Canyon Shooting Preserve, Peck, Idaho. Jet has a staunch point and is rock solid for the wing and shot. This litter is cleared of seven genetically inherited diseases, none dilute DD genotype, the parents are OFA certified hips excellent/good, elbows normal, eyes clear. |
