The breeding was conducted on 12/19/2025. Sonogram is scheduled for 1/16/2026. If the breeding was successful, the puppies would be born on about 2/18/2026 and ready to go on about 4/8/2026. Rysk needs no introduction and we are very honored that his owners Tom and Teresa Ford allowed us to breed Willow with Rysk. Rysk has a fantastic pedigree and has himself been a great producer with many titled offspring and offspring with all age points. Rysk has 76 all age points with 8 open wins and 3 amateur wins. He was a finalist at the 2022 NRC and was the 2022 Purina High Point Open Dog. We have had the great privilege of getting to train some this past year with Tom and his boy Rysk and it has been an amazing experience watching Rysk work. We are extremely excited at the prospect of a Rysk x Willow litter. Willow is from our November 2020 Whistler x Dixie litter. Willow is a very fast, high drive, tenacious retriever but has a very sweet temperament and great personality. Willow has proven that she has the ability to perform well at hunt tests and at field trial events. Willow has an AKC MH title, a NAHRA MHR title, qualified at the 2023 NAHRA Invitational, qualified for the 2025 MAI and Master National, and has a Derby JAM, a Qualifier JAM, a Qualifier Reserve JAM, and a Qualifier 4th Place. Willow is completely amateur trained and handled and has been an absolute joy. Rysk and Willow are both good looking with all their health clearances including excellent hip ratings. Both are yellow factored so there is a possibility of both black and yellow puppies. The puppies from this litter will be perfect for competition, hunting, and as family companions.
