Other Information about litter:
Ellis was bred to Rock on 12/1/25. Pups should arrive February 2nd, 2026. These puppies should be extremely sensible, balanced, and biddable while also having plenty of drive to get any job done. Rock is an exceptional hunt test competitor. He is a perfect 15/15 in Master tests and has already earned 1 Master National plate at 3 years old. Next year he will run HRC tests with his eye on the Grand. Jody Ware of Razor Sharp Retrievers has done all of Rock's training, and he has done an outstanding job at that. Rock is an exceptional marker, a team player on his blinds, and has a great water attitude, yet is easy to run and maintains an eager, quiet calmness at the line. His first couple litters are young, but the early reports are all positive. His future as an individual and a producer is bright!
Ellis is the dog 90% of hunters are looking for. She goes plenty hard in the field but is very calm around the house and kennel. She is the kind of dog you can be proud to take hunting with your buddies, and at the same time, your family doesn't want to kick her out of the house. We get the same report from all of her siblings as well. Ellis made a trip to Canada in October 2025 with a trusted hunter and picked up around 200 snow geese. The hunting group raved about how enjoyable she was in the blind, in the truck, and in the hunting lodge. I took her with a friend of mine this year, and at the end of the hunt he commented that she was the most well-mannered dog he had ever hunted with. Ellis went 4/4 this fall for her HR title and will earn her HRCH title next year.
This cross was made for the hunter and hunt tester that is looking for a dog they can manage at the line and enjoy in the home. And I almost failed to mention, these should be beautiful pups! Ellis is the best looking dog I have ever owned, and Rock is a very handsome man himself. I will offer a $200 training rebate for the first month of training for pups sent back to me for training. |
