Faye a Drop of Golden Sun is 100% trained and handled by her amateur owner.
Faye has intense focus, a big motor that likes to run wide open, and bodacious water entries. Her intensity afield is counterbalanced by a sweet and mellow demeanor in the house -- an on-off switch without compromise.
Faye and her owner/handler are still learning the ropes. In July of 2026, Faye ran her first Q -- smacking her land triple but going out on her water blind. She finished out the weekend two back-to-back passes to finish her AKC Senior Hunter title.
When she is not busy retrieving bumpers and ducks, Faye loves hunting grouse, pheasant, and snowshoe hares, picking blueberries, going for boat rides, and sprawling out on the most comfortable part of the couch.
