Castlerigg represents years of weaving field and conformation lines together in his dam’s greater pedigree. He finished his Championship in three months. This portrait memorializes the day Castlerigg came up through the classes to be awarded Best of Winners, the Breed, and ultimately a Sporting Group 1. What an honor for a dog that was an unknown and yet to finish his Championship. While Castlerigg may have a non-traditional pedigree, honesty in breed preservation is its keynote.
