Over the years, I did dogs one at a time which is a painstaking and inefficient way to try to be competitive in field trials. After washing out 3 dogs in a row in 5 years, I decided to use the knowledge I learned in college in two years of genetics classes to help increase my odds. All the things I learned in those genetics classes applies to dogs. Nicks, crosses, and patterns – it is all there. Since 2018, I have spent 10-15 hours per week working with dog pedigrees and science – this is practically part time job to me, I work harder than anyone on it.


I believe this sport is too damn expensive to try pups out of random litters or just breed to the flavor of the month. Trainers charge the same monthly rate to train a dog out of a random pairing as they do a dog out of a proven cross that creates FC’s. Anytime you see me breed one of my dogs, it is because I want a pup off my bitch. With the pedigree science I have worked so hard on, I am confident I can create more competitive dogs. This strategy has already been proven out with the dogs I currently have in training out of the pairings I have chosen.


The plan is simple. Save money by making more calculated moves. Will there be wash outs? Absolutely. However, there will be less wash outs and more winners by using well-studied proven crosses and nicking patterns. It is just that simple.


Shaq bitches have crossed incredibly well with Carbon sons. Shaq bitches have also crossed well with Cosmo, Chopper, and Devil. Why does that matter? My Shaq bitch is being bred to Foxx because he is line bred on Carbon, as well as has Cosmo and Chopper in his pedigree. What does all this mean? The cross I am recreating has accounted for over 15 Field Champions, several QAA and a bunch of derby points.


Dogs will be go to competitive field trial, high end hunt test homes, and SRS competitors.
