In 2019 Rain concluded her derby career as the top derby dog in the US and in Canada with a total 128 combined points surpassing the all-time combined record set by NAFC NAFTCH Lean Mac. She completed her US Derby career with 88 points (13 wins in 28 starts, averaging 3.14 points per start). Completed her Canadian Derby career with 40 points ( 6 wins in 10 starts, averaging 4 points per start). That year she was also a NRDC finalist . In 2020, the day after being awarded the 2019 Purina Outstanding Junior Dog Award Rain competed in her first qualifying in the US and won, becoming QAA shortly after turning 2. She also won her first open in Canada in 2020 well on her way to becoming a Canadian Field Champion at 3½ . She has placed and finished several amateur trials in the US competing in a limited number of trials. 2021 Rain was a Finalist in the Canadian National. She went on to gain her AFTCH with owner Karen at the reins. Rain is a pleasure to have around. She’s quiet and relaxed in the house but an intense focused retriever in the field with both phenomenal marking and handling skills.
