Other Information about litter:
Ember whelped on 4/19, currently, two males and two females available. I anticipate the pairing between Ice and Ember will produce quality retrievers capable of success in hunt test games, as well as making great hunting companions in the duck blind or upland field. Ice has clearly proven himself in hunt test games, as well as in the SRS and AKC field trial stakes. He is not only a competitor, but also a reliable and consistent hunting partner and family companion. His drive, desire, and control in the field, coupled with his in-home demeanor, are what attracted me to him. Ember has proven herself in both the duck blind and upland field over the last couple of seasons. In the duck blind, she is quiet, attentive, and as steady as they come. She is a great team player, making her a nice blind-running dog, yet she has no problem working independently to locate moving cripples that you lose track of. Ember is a solid duck dog, but where she really shines is in the upland field. She has a natural quartering pattern and a strong natural point. She has spent time in the North Dakota pheasant fields and served as a guide dog on a put-and-take shooting preserve for three seasons, getting anywhere from 200 to 300 upland retrieves per season, always showing finished-level control. In her hunt test career, she has earned her HRCH, UHCH, 1.5xGMPR, and JH. After the litter, we will continue running tests to finish her 4xGMPR, earn her MH title, and run the Grand. Pedigree:
